St Mary’s Counselling Centre is situated in Todmorden, a West Yorkshire town in the upper Calder Valley.

Based at St Mary’s Church in the centre of town we offer a listening ear, a peaceful atmosphere and trained counsellors.

We are a Christian organisation but we offer help to anyone, you do not have to be a Christian to use our service, issues of faith will only be included at your request.

We work to the BAC Code of Ethics & Practice and are affiliated to United Churches Healing Ministry where our counsellors were trained. Our counsellors are accredited with ACC or working towards accreditation.

Counselling and psychotherapy can help you to work through many difficulties or problems like, depression; bereavement & loss; childhood traumas & abuse; low self-esteem and various crisis situations. We also offer a couple counselling service.

Having someone to talk things through with and walk alongside really does make a difference. It would be a privilege to help you.

No set charge is made for the service, but we do expect clients to make some regular donation towards the cost of their counselling.
